The criticisms of Bernie being unable to work with oppositional positions is totally unwarranted and baseless.
In fact, if you allow that people on the other side of things remain people, I think more right-wing people and politicians would rather work/debate/make policy with someone that honestly believes what they are saying, even if they donāt agree.
Because Iām human, and Iāll choose a legitimate enemy over a windsock any day of the week. Iām not special, so this must hold for others.
Theyāll be as entrenched and obstructionist as ever, but thatās more difficult to sustain vs legitimacy than it is vs chicanery. Some of them already do respect Sanders a great deal by this measure and that matters a great deal more than cynics can imagine.
Sounds like the NHS, despite the best efforts of the Conservative party.
I think a better way to phrase it is that I think Hillary will do less to obstruct them.
