Wisconsin Congresswoman: mandatory drug tests for anyone claiming $150K in itemized tax-deductions

Yeah yeah yeah, I get it. You can’t see past the end of your nose to the illogic of the brain-dead “gubmint bad, free market good!” position. Good luck finding the road (paid for by . . . ?) to Shangri-La Galt’s Gulch.

And yet, I could say the same of you. Your conclusion leads to nowhere. Have fun pulling money out of thin air to give to other people while throwing unwarranted insults to total strangers online.

Hey Johnny, you better get another gun. Your pea-shooter is still shooting blanks.

I’m old enough to remember when believing that “a stitch in time saves nine” was considered conservative.

More childish comebacks! Weeee!

Please explain your thinking on this subject. Do you believe that individual people build their own roads, bridges, schools, sewage systems, etc.?

Ha, good luck with that! It seems that Johnny doesn’t like to explain himself. Nope, not one bit.

I already explained that it’s not worth explaining, because you end up with childish comebacks like the ones from Millie. She is a perfect example of what I predicted would happen as she tried to derail the conversation from the original point I was making.

I am a different person. I’m asking you to clarify what you said because I can’t understand it.

Pretty sure I explained it. Except people don’t want to read.

I’m pretty sure I just said I don’t believe in the Elizabeth warren philosophy. Not hard to understand. How could I be any clearer? I am fine with government and taxation. But a government can’t exist without taking (taxing) someone else’s money to help “create” roads, schools, fire stations ect. There is no “I hate government” statement coming from my mouth (as much as Millie would want to believe).

Should I explain myself…again? Was I not clear the other 3 times?

If you think that any money is or should be “one’s own”, then naturally you are using a private currency, instead of borrowing one from a government, are you not?

And wouldn’t possessing capital impede its natural desire to wander around with the invisible feet of the market?

I’m not sure what your objection to what Warren said is.

You’re fine with the existence of government and taxation, and you accept that those taxes are needed to pay for public infrastructure. Perhaps you don’t accept that that infrastructure is of any use when it comes to building a successful business?

You do realize that currency can exist without a government, right?

I quoted what you said:

It gets back to the old Elizabeth warren argument of “you didn’t build that”, which I don’t ascribe to

and asked you to explain what you believed was true instead of the concept that individuals don’t build their own communities alone.

You’ve made it clear by your inability to answer that you’re too young and uneducated to understand complex subjects, too unpatriotic to respect the role of civics in our polity, too lazy to learn, and too immature to walk away without acting like a 7th grader.

I gave you a shot at explaining your ideas. You couldn’t rise to the challenge. Meh.

Looks like @popobawa4u just gave him a shot too.

Three strikes and he’s out?

Of course they can! But what amazes me is how overwhelmingly people who sound hung up upon private ownership actually choose to use government-run currencies anyway. Perhaps it seems more convenient, that the infrastructure behind it has already been paid for?

I already said in my very first statement I don’t care about meeting anyone’s challenge in a debate. In fact I explicitly said the point of my original comment was not arguing or debating political philosophy because it’s useless on here. I was just pointing out the obvious answer to someone’s sincere question.

The concept that a business or individual exists in a vacuum was never a point I made. But to claim (as warren does) that a government entity helped “build” my business is preposterous on its face when that government gets its very existence from the funds it takes from me.
