U guys do realize that it’s her own fault that she’s cramped into her tiny home. I have seen beautiful and spacious tiny homes, what she needs to remodel her home with storage built into the wall or stairs, there’s so many videos on YouTube that prove that. And I for one want a tiny home built like how i want. Use y’all heads and some common sense.

These are just a few videos that’s out there
You do understand she’s renting this tiny home because she can’t afford a larger place in the insanely over-priced Bay Area, right? She also doesn’t take issue with the design, but complains about the hassles that come with living in any sub-300sqf space, well-designed or not.
Use y’all heads and read the article before sharing your hot take.
She hates living in her tiny house because she’s living in a trailer, but the tiny house fanboys have convinced her that this is supposedly a luxurious lifestyle.

I walk my dog past a stretch of houses that were built in the 10 years after WWII. They are all “tiny houses” compared to what is considered a modern benchmark. They are 2br/1b 5 rooms, ~500 - ~800sqft. on about a 0.10 acre lot. I often wonder what a modern version of that would be like? You could retrofit a lot of sub-1000 sq ft. houses into many American cities.
Then there’s what happened with my mother and her mortgage company. She got a couple payments behind, and tried to work with the mortgage company to get things settled. They kept losing the paperwork, refused to return calls or dumped her into Hold Hell. waited until the very last possible moment to request for information or tell her that they lost the paperwork, and she finally said ‘screw this’, moved out into an appartment and voluntarily gave the property back to them. THEN they magically wanted to work with her.
IIRC, she owed something like 60K on it; the bank could’nt even sell it at auction, because they were too damned greedy and wanted what the property was work at auction.
Never, EVER do business with PMC. EVER.
BofA did the very same thing to me, my home in Scottsdale, Az was worth $700k in 2006, it sold at auction for $35k 2011. I tried to hang in there, but the constant harassment, living one day at a time not knowing when you’ll be evicted, well I gave up in 2010 and moved back to California.
Never going to get me again, and FU#K BofA!
I’ve been following Louis Rossmann as he looked for a new store to rent, as he’s outgrown the space he’d currently in. It’s an interesting commentary on New York commercial property brokers, landlords, and leasing agents, and the insanity therein. (I won’t get into the additional insanity of finding contractors for the renovation of the place he settled on…)
As he’s fond of saying: “If I made this place look too nice, you wouldn’t be able to afford it!” (which is a Seinfeld reference, I think.)
… with a large, spiked, curare-coated dildo. (I’m not a fan of them, either.)
