Working causes death, warns science




A friend of mine likes to say, "Years from now you will never look back and say 'I wish I spent more time in the office'".

Yeah, right, unless you got fired for not showing up.


I'm pretty sure people die whether they work or not.


That is, indeed, the way to not have a job in an office. Which is a Good Thing.


So spend less time at work.


Funnily enough, my most recent 'finally watching a film I should have seen years ago' was Office Space last weekend.


If work is what causes death, shouldn't retirees be immortal?


This is why we need a universal basic income.
