Okayā¦ I am not a physics or math guyā¦ Iām totally a history guyā¦ but even I know that that is NOT how math and physics workā¦
Apparentlyā¦
While it may seem an unusual fit under the umbrella of physics, Dmitry Krotov, a physicist with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and IBM who has published several papers with Dr. Hopfield in recent years, said the boundaries between fields were āsomewhat artificial,ā adding that āwhat is nice about physics is that historically, it is always expanding.ā

Neural networks and physical systems with emergent collective computational abilities.

I wonder if āet alā still lives.
Not that an algorithm couldnāt mix book titles, but eventually selecting the results that actually are funny/witty and creative?
has scamy desperation written all over it;
Itās only $49.99 for a lifetime subscription (reg. $319)
Supermusic AI lifetime subscription at $49.99 (reg. $219)
Today, with text messaging basically being the default way most adults communicate remotely, breaking up through text is commonplace enough that Cosmopolitan endorsed the practice in a 2023 article. āI can tell you with complete confidence as an experienced professional in the field of romantic failure that of these options, I would take the breakup text any day,ā wrote Kayle Kibbe.
I guess Iām old, but this seems fucking horrible.
Anyone got a link to the report? I have a reasonable suspicion of reports from tech bros. Which will be properly published and peer reviewed really soonā¦
That or the researchers get disappearedā¦
ā¦ in a world where most relationships start on the internet (apparently) it seems inevitable
Just when I thought it couldnāt get any worse than thisā¦
Not directly related to AI, but I just love how Romeo and the Beast have expressions that say theyāre totally gonna make it work.
Absolutely, but getting dumped via text messages sounds pretty bad to me even without involving AI. But I guess thatās getting somewhat common now. This article in the A.P.A. says that 88% of men and 18% of women in a survey say they have broken off a relationship through text:
Plus the survey is 10 years old.
Couldnāt read the whole thing, but Iām wondering if there was a single legitimate response. We keep seeing articles about the rise in non-response or automated replies generated by firms supposedly hiring, but too often just posting ghost jobs:
How many ghost jobs are also full of AI-generated unrealistic expectations/qualifications that will lead to a self-reinforcing cycle of jobs that only AI can fill?
