I may have once, but I have absolutely no recollection of that at all.

PS: All kidding aside, I think Cyriak has an innate understanding that the scariest monsters are distortions/hybridizations of real creatures and people. (Something in our psyche, perhaps some connection to evolution?) The Alien movie creature is nowhere near as disturbing as his Baa sheep.

It would be interesting to hear Cyriak’s own view on that. If nothing else, latest tech may have been making it easier for him to deliver his ‘vision’, but if his chief goal has been to (pardon me) mindfuck his audience, then I could make a case for the limitations of earlier tech (in terms of his animations’ appearance and ‘mechanics’) actually benefiting him by adding to their disturbing look.

Think “The Residents” (1970s group). Technology has clearly scrubbed their work clean of their earlier, intentionally bizarre edge. Much better (or should I say effective) in the 70s than now.
