This reminds me of Flash Flash Revolution, a music based pc game with the same mechanics. I was completely hooked on FFR until I started having terrible pains in the joints of my middle finger. The up/down motion gave me a permanent repetitive stress injury, known as “trigger finger.” It hurts. A lot.
I love games like these, but be very, very careful.
