Well, I hope someone is now regretting the use of their UN veto on the 2008 Treaty on Prevention of the Placement of Weapons in Outer Space and of the Threat or Use of Force Against Outer Space Objects.

Why regretting? This will bring some sweet fat contracts, some nice taxpayer moolah for Raytheon and Boeing and Lockheed. The decisionmakers themselves then can look forward to their fair share in terms of corporate campaign contributions. Everybody wins!
