the banality of good and evil is so profound it makes one question the concepts to start with. much of the time what we think is the right thing to do is fundamentally wrong, and the wrong decision is better. the illusion of meritocracy in the tech sector is a perfect example of people trying to do the right thing but fundamentally screwing it up
