More years ago than I care to remember I attended a science fiction convention in Columbus, Ohio. While there I heard a singer perform a song about the “Hotel Con-Euphoria”. I can’t remember the words, but there was a bit about how attendees were allowed to wear swords. The singer asks, “Won’t it freak the mundanes?” and gets the reply, “There ain’t no stinkin’ mundanes here.”
Alas I don’t remember who the singer was, and I’ve never been able to find the song again. Maybe he, like the Hotel Con-Euphoria he sang about, was just a dream.
