But this piece, and pretty much every article and study of social, ecological, economic, and political issues that I have seen, keeps coming back to the same central problem: the massive and escalating concentration of wealth in a tiny minority and the immiseration of the majority. We need mass social movements and an effective radical left; yet no one can seem to work out how to get there from our decades-long malaise.
