Thanks for sharing these great pictures.

Another great documentary to show the role of women in big projects is Top Secret Rosies - The Female Computers of World War II.

I like the Rosies story because it shows the strength of female mathematicians. I think our young people need more and more stories of women doing amazing things. The popularity of movies like Frozen is an indication that girls and young women feel that they can’t show their true strengths.

The pictures in the book are amazing and really captures the personalities of the people.

Aside from a desperate need for good hair care products, Americans look to have been a natty looking lot back in the 40’s
