Why would someone stick a ring on their finger with dental floss?
Clever!
I didn’t know how it was going to work until the very end.
I assumed the dental floss would compress the finger and the ring would slip off that way. The coiling action was pretty cool.
A most excellent wonderful thing- thanks Mark!
Alternate dental floss method: tie the floss at the base of the finger as tightly as possible. Ten days later, give the finger a gentle tug. Ring and finger are then easily separated when loose, and the ring is as good as new.
Really though, I learned this in the Cub Scout manual. In 1965. Nothing new.
Maybe a detail, but wrapping down the finger seems to deal with the swelling better. But either way is much better than nothing.
I thought it was going to be more like this;
Because they didn’t have any ring floss.
