looks like he is of the same mind. he wrote TPO in the headline and throughout the article, despite writing out the full word as “trans-Neptunian objects” each time.
the only time it’s correct is in the quoted text.

TNOs are any “minor planets” (asteroids, dwarf planets, and other similar objects) that orbit the Sun beyond Jupiter.

Shouldn’t that be Neptune?
