This is from the era when taxidermy provided the cooperative kitties sad to say. Still it’s. nice to dream that a little kitty might have that patience.

Given the era, my first thought was that the cat was either dead or doped up on some crazy patent medicine. But there’s still a chance that everything really is as it appears to be and the kittycat is having a normal snooze. Kittens do sleep pretty deeply and I could imagine slipping a bonnet on after they’ve already dozed off.
