This is the kind of stuff I am hearing in passing offline. It’s hard to imagine, but the offline discussion is far more disgusting than the online. On average, the level of criticism of the protests is at “Why don’t they just shoot them all” levels at this point.
I hope the protests are motivating Democrats and the Left to vote, because they are certainly solidifying the Right.

They were arrested that night on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, according to the report.”
If you are firing a weapon at a person, your intent does not matter, you are attempting to kill them.
“The Fountains were released without bond and ordered to surrender their firearms until the case is resolved.”
That says it all. This is why there are people in the streets.

The Fountains had been surveilling the location inside a U-Haul of their own, claiming they were having problems with people stealing gas from their fleet of U-Haul trucks. During their arrest, officers found a shotgun in their U-Haul and the couple were carrying several pistols, including a .357-caliber Magnum and a Glock 19.
Trying to kill people, not for trying to steal their trucks. Vigilante death penalty for stealing gas…

Almost everyone on the left who votes will probably vote Dem. As they did last time, as they do every time.
But there is very little chance that significant numbers of young working class people will choose to cope with the extreme expense and danger of trying to cast a ballot in a working-class precinct just so they can record a vote for the people whose cops have been beating the crap out of them for months.
