Apparently he was treated and released into police custody so it seems like he just got roughed up a little by the protesters pulling him out of the cab. This definitely wasn’t any sort of Reginald Denny scenario.
The video footage is just chilling and he seemed to speed up when nearing the crowd. It’s amazing nobody was hurt or killed.
