Their corrupt government just resigned. Thank goodness.
But this poses a question: With them gone, who will steal a good chunk of this aid money now?

The government is just the start of it. Their constitution is a mess with a parliament legally split exactly 50/50 between Christians and Muslims. A prime minister who have to be a Christian, speaker of the house a shiite and president a sunni. A legacy from when France left and wanted to ensure the Christians a larger influence than their population number.

The responsible thing would be to allow legacy requirements like that to expire in a few decades.
