Yes, but you don’t need to worry about this if you have properly installed spring bars from a competent watchmaker, either :wink:

There are other ways bands attach to cases as well. Not all watches use springbars. Some have sewn bands over swinging lugs, some screw to the case.

But if it worries you and you dont mind the look, go for it
