Yeah, how does that work? Do they direct deposit once a month? Can I get paid in BitCoin?
I wonder if it could be hacked to disable the microphone unless you push a momentary-on switch.
I’ve also got a cheap way to use Alexa.

Like many of you, I would never have an always-on microphone connected to the Internet in my house.
That’s because despite appearances I am actually reasonably fit and healthy.
If you are suffering from the aftereffects of a stroke, or have other disabilities that severely limit your mobility or dexterity, these things are just awesome. You can do simple things for yourself, like select and play music, buy supplies and have them delivered, maintain a calendar, answer the phone, change the room temperature… it’s really a life enhancing technology for families that include a crippled adult.
