Thank you for returning Fred to his home. We appreciate the cost and effort it must have taken.

However, you should know that Fred was legally and justly expelled from our community for repeated behavioral problems, including crimes against other members. We had a vote and everything.

So, in the future, if you find a stray ferret, do not automatically assume that it should be returned to us.
