A new flag for Mississippi: the Mighty Magnolia

Sadly, I think this is the only modification that would get the votes:

And while we are at it, make David Banner’s “Magnolia” the state song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLMZm-VpbOk)

“If a tree could speak
It would probably shed a tear and weep
For the skin like mine
For being there behind Confederate lines
Mighty Magnolia”

I strongly encourage everyone to also check out the design developed by Laurin Stennis. It has gained widespread attention across the state and similarly attempts to use more inclusive and progressive symbolism. You can find more information about Ms Stennis and her design at: https://declaremississippi.com/symbolism-2/.

Wouldn’t the Blighty Kudzu be more accurate?

I think Blue Milk Special got it right, those little buggers are actually cannibals who probably ate the troopers they killed. In another telling, Return of the Jedi was basically a horror movie for the Imperial staff who were stationed there.

“Their base destroyed by terrorists and surrounded by man-eating primitives, this band of heroes tries to escape from Endor before the moon is incinerated by falling debris…”

Er.

Oh yeah, I like all the new ideas. Except for the shaking hands one, that was best left only a brainstorm.
