By the way, it all smells like marketing shenanigans. The ‘stunt’, the ‘avatars’, the ‘followers’. None of it actually means anything, people. Go take a walk outside, the weather is nice.
I always suspect all social media platforms boost their ‘follower counts’ in some way. After all a ‘follower count’ is like a score in a game. If you put some extra zeros at the end people feel they have accomplished more.
