The “maker” in me who loves using things up, and making use of what you have on hand creatively, has always been intrigued by how the original jingles were made of the lids of chewing-tobacco cans, rolled into cones.

Yes, that’s them. While I was familiar with their origin story, I didn’t realize they used tobacco tin lids. That’s a lot of chew for one dress!

Maybe now one could use altoid cans - and have minty breath for ever.

For getting captive-born eaglets into the wild, check the AEF page. They have several non-flying mated pairs in their Dollywood sanctuary and they have a very successful release program.
