Supposedly, after accepting an order via a click, it doesn’t accept another until the item is actually delivered. So, at worst, it would be a sloooow process for the kid to cost you a fortune in unwanted deliveries.
I don’t like that it’s one more battery-included thing to fill the garbage dumps. But then, I’m sure the environment-conscious Amazon shopper will remove the battery before throwing it out, after which they’ll dispose appropriately of the battery.
We have monthly parties at my house and I just imagine various people randomly pressing those for the lulz.
They have a program called Amazon Mom which is specifically about offering those items a child caregiver might need. Between the discounts there and Subscribe and Save, it makes things like diapers both convenient and inexpensive. I’ve been a member (of Mom) for at least the last 5 years, so it doesn’t seem that recent to me, but it would be easy to miss if you’re not looking for them.
Well, the important thing is that you’ve found something else to be smug about, so you can pretend the Costco thing never happened.

That would be good, but even better would be something similar for my PO box, because that one requires that I get all the way dressed and leave the property. And, the post office guy isn’t down with answering the question of whether I have anything to pick up. Not allowed, or whatever.
A cat might click once or twice if the stars align, but what happens when a toddler gets a hold if it and pushes the button constantly until they get bored?

If you make a Dash button of a Dash button being pressed, and press the button, you’ll set off a chain reaction which results in all matter in the universe being turned into Dash buttons.
I just use a Staples Easy Button to trigger all the Amazon Dash buttons. Pushing buttons individually is for chumps.
Especially if your kids find your Trojan’s button… :-0
