I liked the way that she analyzed how the architecture serves the stories, and not just whether it is pretty or not. I admit that I was a little disappointed with her look at Downsized. She was dead on with her look at the empty suburbia, but she never contrasted that with the other architecture. The movie only really becomes interesting when the main character discovers the dystopian world of the workers that enable the suburban ideal world. The third act where he is exposed to the idealized, sylvan life of those that reject the rat race is less successful, though.

Agreed - that was more like 90% movie review and commentary and only 10% (if that) architecture commentary. Not sure why it was even on her list.
