Waitwaitwaitaminute… this bug only happens when you use Group Facetime, and then call your friend, and then they don’t hear their phone ring, and then keep on talking about that thing that’s embarrassing or illegal? That’s a mighty long chain of coincidences. Apple’s response is still terrible, but I’m not losing sleep over this vulnerability.

Yes, this thing happens when you target someone whose important conversation you want to hear, especially if they commonly mute their phone when they are having an important conversation and don’t want to be distracted.

And although the patch is taking a while, they disabled the feature as soon as they realized the problem. It’s bad but I don’t think it’s as bad as people are making it out to be.
