Does it come in bathtub size? And perhaps around $50.00 US bucks?

It reminds me of ROVs this game (highly recommended):

I like how the first roboticist is honest that he wanted a good excuse to build a transformer. :robot:

Very cool, but they should make it big enough to fight kaiju. Just in case.

I expected this to be a Waldo, so it was a nice surprise to find out that this is actually autonomous to some degree.

Totally legit AND cool. Nice.

Not only will this setup actually save a good bit of money by combining two types of robot — assuming it’s reliable, a big ask but doable — this will very definitely pan out for other extreme environments and/or low-g/vacuum work.

And it looks cool =).

How’s progress on the VF-1 Valkyrie?

Kind of problematic, at the current limits of production and material science.

The capacity for a few hundred of these things to combine into Kaiju-fighting size, well… Now you’re talkin’!

Am I the only one whose inner-DJ won’t stop playing the trumpet-flare Transformers interstitial music while I peruse this article?

It’s cute and all but just wait until it exposes it’s manipulators.
