We have good mass transit from NYC to Chicago. It’s called planes. I can’t see the effects of socializing it improving it much.
Long distance mass transit works well, as does good mass transit in dense cities. It would be quite expensive to improve Las Vegas’s transit enough that people would give up cars, and Podunk, Utah, 2 hours from St. George is probably nigh impossible.
