A better runner than me.
I still feel like it hasn’t cracked it. Movement seems all over the place, temporally. I’d expect it to eventually work out how to do a consistent stride.
It’s really refreshing to know that even AI can’t play QWOP without resorting to the knee-scrape method, even after 8 hours of practice.
I expected perfect QWOP strides too. Maybe it’s actually not possible! I’ve never seen anyone achieve a non-flailing QWOP stride, though i’d always assumed that if you played perfectly you’d chug along seamlessly.
After spending about 10 (maybe 15?) minutes on this game, I got to 32 meters (using the very slow knee-scrape/thigh stretch method). I could master the first 10 meters in a little under 2 minutes. But then it doesn’t get easier.
Game need a new name… “Zombie Run” seems to work well
