An apt comparison for some truly wonderful things. These are great!
My high school art teacher had a similar style, but it was two-dimensional and rendered in black ink and colored pencil. His drawings looked like alien stained glass windows. Teaching art and photography paid the bills, but I think that his passion was playing the sax with his band on weekends.
Actually her drawings look a hell of a lot like his work, minus the color. I’m sure he’d get a kick out of her work, if he’s still around.
