Getting the human patient to sit still and let you work is comparitively easy when you’re familiar with terrestrial anaesthetics. But with acid for blood, imagine what will knock out the little wriggler!
Science fiction surgeries are far more complex and less fun to realistically depict than science fiction drinking establishments…
