I didn’t know California would take away a license for an equipment violation. It isn’t listed in the parts of the California code at http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/vc/tocd6c2a3.htm. Which part of the code specifies this? Illegal aliens can’t obtain driver’s licenses in California. OK, so I don’t want folks who haven’t respect for the law driving either.

It also wasn’t the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine van (I drive by one of those occasionally down in Felton.) It was a basic Chevy window van, originally “burgundy” colored (though under parking lot lights or streetlights it seemed to be nearly invisible.)
