I like to try the high parts on karaoke nights.

Some versions of the lyrics transcribe the word “yau” before the final chorus, while others leave it out, which raises the question as to whether it was intentionally included in the original wording.

I never had any idea what they were saying in the chorus. Life-long mystery solved! I think one could argue that Ba-De-Yah is the most crucial part of the song.
