…
Um, no… I don’t remember it yet because, well…
…need I go on?
Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing
As we danced in the night
Remember how the stars stole the night awaaaaaay…
It’s usually the night before the autumn equinox, for what it’s worth.
Also apparently a good night to wear amaaaaazing shirts.
Because the 21st is still happening is the part I left out.
It… it’s not much of a joke is why I left out part of it.
That’s supposed to make it funnier.
Is it working?
Hey hey hey
Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, never was a cloudy daaaaaaay…
Nope.
Consumer pols show that by a wide margin amazing shirts are best worn on the 21st of September.
The shirt that I am wearing is over 30 years old and only has one elbow. Should I go change?
This song makes it very easy to remember my wedding anniversary.
I have the blu ray equivalent of the bong
so that does it for me…
but I did do a certain album which had a sort of unique
transition from here to sort of there…
that was played to a death
not sorting the john waters free to air cassette playground memo
I love their clothes! (And their song natch!)
BONUS lovely cover by Pomplamoose:
I remember the 3rd of September:
4 mins in.
Depends what time zone you’re in. You’ve got until evening. A good thing too, because my own shirt is indifferent at best right now.
I remember the 5th of November!
One of my favorite podcasters (Ken Ray) does a daily Apple news round-up show. He follows up most mentions of September (coincidentally when Apple drops new iPhones, so it comes up fairly regularly throughout the year) with “when we sing ba-de-ya”, and it always makes me grin.
Would you be changing to one with fewer elbows or more elbows?
eta: how does a shirt have elbows, anyway?
Seems like we need to start a #game for date related musics…
The more the merrier.
