Band releases album as Linux kernel module

Frankly, even a Kernel Module is too much of a sop to the established order. I want an album provided as a raw disk image, with a boot sector written in 8086 assembly, that streams to the sound card directly. I want to write the album over the Master Boot Record and reboot in order to play.

If you don’t have to type:

to hear it, it’s not real nerdcore music

Hmpf. If the decoder isn’t running in real mode you just aren’t getting the original experience.

Should read:

    sudo dd if=~/netcat.album of=/dev/sda bs=1M count=660 ; shutdown -r now

I mean, seriously? Error checking? That’s not very nerdcore!
