To the casually (or actively) racist white, undereducated American, it was always easy to cast Obama as “the other,” whichever “other” happened to be convenient to cast.

It’s weird how the conspiracy theories around Obama come down to his secret freaky sex life. I mean, all of the Qanon / Pizzagate / Illuminati theories that are rabidly traded online come down to the theory that Obama is the leader of a boy-prostitute-pedophile ring. That’s the most evil horrible thing they could possibly imagine: not trying to take over the world or doing some supervillain routine, but being a nasty pervert. That says a lot about where the far-wacky-right’s minds are at.

I find it ridiculous that we have “Values Voters” who throw all their support to a serial adulterer, admitted sexual predator who constantly pays for sex but they:

Attack a man who has been with the same woman for most his adult life. Despite 8+ years under the scrutiny of political opponents howling for blood, has no credible allegations of adultery

Attack a woman who stayed with her wayward husband (as the Bible thumping preachers demand that wives do) despite the public humiliation of one of his affairs being national news.

Will vote for any miscreant POS who promises to turn pregnant women into property of the state, but support throwing children in concentration campsand attack programs which provide food, shelter and education to children.
