It’s a new twist on San Diego’s latest toilet to tap promotion. Maybe Pure Water San Diego is actually intended to sustain its burgeoning craft brew scene.

I have toured the NEWater facility and am entirely convinced that the final product is non-gross. That said, the NEWater folks themselves (in their promotional video) didn’t seem entirely convinced… they do this weird thing where the output of the treatment plant is piped back into a natural watershed before being reprocessed back into the city water supply… feels sort of like money-laundering. I like the fact that this brewery is just owning it!
