I hope the UK comes up with something similar. I need to see Buster Gonad and his Unfeasibly Large Testicles.

Mais surtout, pas d’inspecteur Canardo?

Lovely! (but also a bit surprising to have so many pictures of non Belgian places - eg, Tower Bridge London etc)

I’m afraid all the comic characters are in government rather than the passport. But somehow none of us are laughing.

Hmm. I’d rather see Robot Archie, Judge Dredd, PsychoGranny and (showing my age here) Flook!

If Scotland separates they better have Oor Wullie in their passport.

I only recognized Tintin and the Smurfs (I assume Asterix is there, and I just missed it), but this is wonderful.

Asterix is French. (Or Galois if you want to be contentious).
Lucky Luke is there though, and Spirou - I’m sure there are lots I don’t recognize.

Some day I’d like to see Tintin take a wrong turn into Jean Giraud space.

Belgians in general tend to be some of the least patriotic people you can find, but we do have our moments. This kind of made my day. Memo to self: check when current passport expires.
