I’d never heard of bootleg comics.
Tintin have an amazing track record of bootlegs, parodies and pirate editions from all the countries of the world !
It’s a dangerous job now because Moulinsart SA sue them systematicly.

There was a pretty hilarious peanuts bootleg zine floating around at an SPX in the early 2000s secretly written by several well known indie comics artists. I wish I had picked up a copy when I had the chance but it was one of these things like you had to know someone to get it. It wasn’t even being sold on a table.
