Those are great tractors! We had a 40’s IH on our farm that was still being used daily in 2004.
Both methods would be ideal, of course. At this point, I’m pro ANY proposal/bill/idea that will siphon any voters away from Trump/GOP.
They’re pretty much indestructible if you can keep the rust at bay. Which again, island.
“Buying a new tractor” here mostly mean taking a trailer somewhere dryer with less salt to find some odd ball IH machine that still runs.
Bobcats are really popular too. I guess since they’re technically construction equipment they aren’t as restricted repair wise.
But it seems like the other end of the right to repair thing is the big American manufacturers abandoning the small farm market. The only dealership we even have here anymore is Kubota, and they recently started selling Mahindra. They started as the Bobcat dealer.
