Beyond Meat added to Tim Hortons' menu

I’ll tell you, the smell of a Beyond burger frying is a little off-putting. I have gotten used to it, and we usually have them once a week or so, assuming my grocery store has them in stock, which is sometimes very hit-or-miss.

I had a buy order for some BYND stock early last month when it was 67.50 a share, but It hasn’t seen that level in weeks. It’s now more than twice that and threatening to triple it.

Had a beyond sausage wrap for breakfast today at Timmies. Not bad. The secret ingredient was the salt.

…no, seriously. One hella salty thing that fake meat patty was. Tasty enough though.

That got me checking another chain from wayback.

Oh, yes! I totally forgot to mention that.

Both the burgers and the sausage smell… not gross, but weird when you cook them. It’s one of those odd foods that tastes nothing like it smells cooking

Is this the chain that sold burgers for ten cents each? I was in Toronto a couple summers in the early '70s, remember a place you could get a bag of burgers or a buck.

good point

Is it wrong that makes me want to try them?

Got that covered with Judas’ Carryout. Everything on the menu is $1.50, $3.00, $7.50,$15.00, or $30.00. Coins only

The Farmer’s Wrap is my go-to, and they’ve got it with Beyond Meat. I’ll have to try it.
