They should then have found iridium and platinum as the telltale signs of meteorite fragments instead of glass exclusively formed by nuclear explosions.
What is this? Fox Archaeology? Little of this, if any, jibes with science.

For example, according to Wikipedia the “prophecies” in the Book of Daniel closely match known history prior to 167 BCE (but then diverge significantly some years after).
I’m not an expert on the Bible and am grossly unqualified to disentangle what is probably true from what is clearly myth in the stories, but I don’t think the exercise is necessarily foolish. That said, I would expect the field to attract quacks and wishful thinking.
