Because for me at least, faux retro-style art projects are utterly uninteresting. If you’re not being faithful to the technical limitations of the hardware you’re endeavoring to be working in the style of, you’re just wasting your time.

Got it. Painters need to be out there grinding down their own pigments and mixing linseed oil. Otherwise, what’s the point of art?
