well we know there’s nothing fishy about these findings because whales aren’t… oh never mind.

( if it turns out they can use their model to predict movement from data that isn’t already part of their dataset, then they might be on to something. i hope so, it’d be pretty cool to have ways to decode what the fishes other mammals are chatting about )

If they’re anything like birds it’s food, sex, territories, buoyancy, displacement (submerged/surface) …
