Nothing Republicans do are for the benefit of citizens beyond the donor class.
They pass laws and other measures to specifically harm citizens. Gov DiSaster vetoed flood and drainage funding for counties where he lacks support,

and he could do that because he has already (essentially) vetoed “home rule”. counties can no longer make ordinances or local laws. no, they must defer to central authority of Tallahassee.
(much like what gov abbott is trying to do in your state.)
eta: of course, when it comes to allocation of disaster funds, that would have always been up to the state.

Yes, but generally very small companies that aren’t in a position to win a case against the state with the backing of most of the players in one of the largest industries in the country. Most major cities have one or two small electric car/motorcycle brands that sell incredibly niche products.
