Thank you for posting this. Sometimes I get tired of living in my sub-tropical home town and this reminded me why it’s nice to live here.

They’re also obliged by law to put winter tires on their cars, but you have until Dec 15 to switch over, so some of those people might still have been sliding on their summer tires

If the plow truck had driven backward, it wouldn’t have slided down (are my tenses OK?)

trivia: it wasn’t pouring deicing salt but sand (or a mixture of)
