They’d better be careful if they come to California. They might get fined and shut down like other code schools locally.

Our company (software development / consulting) struggles to get enough developers and unsuccessfully tries to get more female employees. As a result, “Hack an app in one week” was introduced, a free course where kids get to know several aspects of software development. It’s sponsored by several big local companies. This year there is even a girls-only course - run by female devs.
Probably the most awesome thing the company ever did!
