But I asked what the issue is that you’re talking about, not who’s involved in it.
What “issue” are so many of us supposedly ignoring?
Edit: This doesn’t sound like an issue:
There are numerous people on this forum whom I know for a fact are BIPOC, LGBTQ and neurodivergent that have expressed that they feel harassed and piled onto
If I’m reading between your lines right, they’re not being “piled onto,” they’re being disagreed with, and they’re being disagreed with because of something they wrote, not because of what they are.
Is that correct?

Sorry, I’m going to call this one here. We can’t devolve into calling individual users out to stand for their behaviour and choices in past conversations. The broader conversation has not been about individual users but a plea to consider not just your own circumstances but also the circumstances of others from multiple directions and multiple viewpoints.
For my part, I hope I’ve made the moderation perspective on all of this clear, and I want to thank our community as a whole for taking the time to write some 400+ replies to what is a complex and charged topic and conversation. We’re actively in discussion with some of our Regulars and Leaders about how we can give the community more tools to promote the behaviour the community wants to see more of, while more quickly dealing with the behaviour that the community does not wish to see. Stay tuned.
