I don’t think I’ve thought about corn recently as much if it wasn’t for that meme. I literally can not think of anyone else who could be an ambassador to corn than Tariq.
I know this may be a ceremonial role, but I do hope there’s tangible compensation benefits for Tariq. It’s still labor and deserves compensation one way or another.

Not only is the boy a sweet natured kid I loved watching grandmas face as he further wrapped the poor lady around his finger. She couldn’t be much prouder of the little guy if he found a pot of gold. And the corn is close enough for gold for him. I hope he gets that tooth grown out so he can enjoy some more “cawn” this season.
